Expanded explanation

## Why AI Agent Matters for SEO

AI agents are increasingly how people will discover, evaluate, and choose businesses. If your website is hard to parse, poorly structured, or lacking entity clarity, agents will skip you entirely. The agent doesn't just find you, it may recommend you directly.

## How AI Agent Works

Agents receive a goal and autonomously determine the steps to achieve it. They use browsing tools, APIs, and databases to gather information, then evaluate and rank options based on trust signals, structure, and relevance. Unlike simple chatbots, agents act rather than just respond.

## Common Mistakes

- Building sites only for human readers without considering machine parsing
- No structured data, agents rely heavily on schema to understand content
- Gated or login-required content that agents can't access
